I’m hard-pressed to think of a game like Spaces of Play’s Future Unfolding. In its entirety, this game is a unique experience that manages to be as relaxing as it is wild. With simple mechanics, clever world design, and strange puzzles it really manages to stand on its own.
In essence, it’s an exploration game that abstractly explores a few aspects of life, mainly about how a lot of people feel they can’t do anything to change their futures. It’s a game about fate and, in some ways, how we try to circumvent it subconsciously, no matter how many ridiculous hoops we have to jump through.
