Style and attitude are two really important parts of what makes a game stand on its own. Those, and the obvious “gameplay’s gotta be good” are three things that no exceptional game is without. Not everything needs to be visually pleasing, but the game needs to know what it wants its aesthetic to be, and it needs to do its best to tie that in with gameplay, if at all possible. ‘Cause, it’s not always...possible.

Super God’s Riptale is a conceptually simple game that oozes style through its visuals and its easy-to-grasp gameplay.

Tossed into the shoes of Kumo, and old warrior, you leap into the depths of the world with magical, attack-powering crystals with the goal of killing a bunch of dragons that’ve been making a mess of things on the surface.
